Day 15 Eating a salad as an Entree' Testimony

Things to remember about eating a Salad for your Entree'

  1. Use Romaine Lettuce
  2. Vegetables/fruit: carrots, tomatoes, stawberries, cranberries, cucumbers
  3. Peppers: red, yellow, orange
  4. Nuts: almonds, walnuts, pecans
  5. Cheese: gorganzola, feta, blue cheese, chedder
  6. Boiled eggs or egg whites
  7. Dressing with lower sugar, carbs, sodium: Italian, Balsamic Vingerette
  8. Keep salad dressing to a minimum.
  9. You only need 2 tbs (one servering)  of salad dressing to coat an entire plate of salad.
  10. Keep salad healthy by not over using dressing.
  11. While eating out, ask for dressing on the side.
