Here is my Sparkling Diamond Testimony for today's lesson on worship!
Important things to remember about worship.
- We worship the Lord for who He is.
- Worship is different from praise. We are commanded to praise. "Let everything that have breath praise the Lord".
- To worship we must do so in our spirit and with a spirit of truth.
- You cannot worship in your flesh.
- Worship requires you to focus on God only.
- While in worship we ask the Father for nothing! We minister to the Father by pouring our love out on him. Like Mary did with her Alabaster Box.
- There is safety in His presence, in worship.
Worship is NOT only praising Him but a Lifestyle of:
- Talking
- Listening
- Obeying His directions
Worship is a benefit so challenge yourself and take advantage of it!!
